Do you wish you felt confident in your homeschool decisions instead of constantly second-guessing yourself? Are you overwhelmed by questions, pressure, and the many roles you carry as a homeschool mom?

The Little By Little Homeschool Podcast offers tactical and realistic encouragement to free you from the stress, pressure, and constant uncertainty that so many homeschool moms feel. You'll find practical guidance and mindset shifts that help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and peace.

Hi, I'm Leigh, a Christian wife and mom who spent far too many years trying to duct-tape my priorities together. I chased approval, tried to meet unspoken expectations, and navigated homeschooling without a clear foundation.

I finally realized that if I was going to fully embrace the life I had, I needed to operate from a place of peace and joy. That's when I planted my feet firmly where I was and began to create beauty, seek simplicity, and live intentionally.

If you are ready to love your life as a homeschool mom and to know with confidence that you are doing the right thing for your children--this podcast is for you!

Together, we'll dive into homeschool hot topics, practical adjustments, and mindset shifts that help you create a homeschool where both you and your children can flourish—little by little.

485. Is There Room For Childhood In Your Homeschool?
18 min

The academics are important in homeschool, but it wasn't the only reason you decided to homeschool. Were you hoping to preserve your children's innocence, time, and heart? If so, it can be so easy to fill up and maximize every moment of the homeschool years. And those may be filled with really good things, but what if you look back someday and realize they lost childhood because of your zeal? I have a few questions for you to think on as you consider if there is room for childhood in your homeschool. And I think this is a really good time of the year to weigh all your plans against the big picture of their childhood years. ♥ Leigh DESIGN YOUR FAMILY'S UNIQUE HOMESCHOOL THAT YOU'LL LOVE! https://littlebylittlehomeschool.com/blueprint CREATE YOUR HOMESCHOOL FAMILY'S HOME TASK SYSTEM https://www.littlebylittlehomeschool.com/tidyhome GET EXCLUSIVE MENTORSHIP WITH LEIGH https://littlebylittlehomeschool.com/mentorship SIMPLIFY YOUR MEAL PLANNING https://littlebylittlehomeschool.com/meal Website - https://www.littlebylittlehomeschool.com Newsletter - https://littlebylittlehomeschool.myflodesk.com/subscribe Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/littlebylittlehomeschool/ Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/littlebylittlehomeschool/ Little by Little Homeschool podcast is part of the Christian Parenting Podcast Network. 480. At The End Of Homeschool, What Really Matters?
17 min

Every great mission begins with a vision for what it plans to accomplish. And this applies to homeschool. You didn't just randomly choose to swim upstream against the current and do something different than the culture at large on a whim. No, you had your reasons. But somewhere along the way, it's so easy for homeschool moms to get lost in the weeds of homeschool and lose sight of what you are aiming for. Today's episode is all about helping you refocus and get back on track towards your target by asking what really matters when it's all said and done. My hope is that this gives you inspiration as you begin this new homeschool year. ♥ Leigh EXPLORE THE HEART OF INDIE EDUCATION AT https://vela.org/ GET YOUR TICKET FOR LITTLE BY LITTLE HOMESCHOOL CONFERENCE https://littlebylittlehomeschool.com/conference DESIGN YOUR FAMILY'S UNIQUE HOMESCHOOL THAT YOU'LL LOVE! https://littlebylittlehomeschool.com/blueprint CREATE YOUR HOMESCHOOL FAMILY'S HOME TASK SYSTEM https://www.littlebylittlehomeschool.com/tidyhome GET EXCLUSIVE MENTORSHIP WITH LEIGH https://littlebylittlehomeschool.com/mentorship SIMPLIFY YOUR MEAL PLANNING https://littlebylittlehomeschool.com/meal Website - https://www.littlebylittlehomeschool.com Newsletter - https://littlebylittlehomeschool.myflodesk.com/subscribe Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/littlebylittlehomeschool/ Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/littlebylittlehomeschool/ Little by Little Homeschool podcast is part of the Christian Parenting Podcast Network. 479. You Have To Domesticate Your Homeschool Children
21 min

As a homeschool mom with three graduates and a front row seat to older teens and young adults, I can see first hand the benefit of taking the time when our children are young to teach them specific habits and skills. Does it take longer? Yes. Will it sometimes be frustrating? Yes. Do you only do the easy things as a parent? No. Today's episode is my {insert dramatic sigh} plea to see the opportunity of homeschool beyond the academics. Consider this an opportunity to shift some priorities and take a look at the big picture of launching your kids out into the world. Guess what? They're going to grow up and be out on their own in the world someday. There is no stopping that. But what if they could be "domesticated?" I believe it will benefit them and others greatly.
