A Loving Discipline from a Loving Heavenly Father | Jessica Clark | Ep. 55

Welcome back to another episode of the Good and Faithful Podcast! In this episode, I share about how life-changing my experience serving at a students summer camp was as well as that the Lord was showing me and revealing to me during my time there. I open up about my recent experiences of not pursuing my faith in the same way I used to and how that has affected my personal relationship with God. I read through Hebrews 12 and share about the importance of listening to our Heavenly Father’s loving discipline and convictions as well as listening to fellow believers when we are being called out and called higher. I am grateful for my church community and the people around me who encourage me in my faith, and I’m thankful for my Heavenly Father who loves me so well enough to kindly discipline me in my faith and encourage me to endure and keep the faith. It’s easy to get distracted, lose heart or lose sight of the Lord, but it’s important in these moments when we do grow weary to run back to what we know is true, which is the Gospel and God’s Word. I hope you are encouraged by this just as much as I was when recording this! The Lord is so good and faithful to us, even when we are not. What a joy it is to know and love the Lord and allow Him to refine us!
