A Prayer for Finding Joy in Motherhood by Nicolet Bell

Reference: John 15:11

Prayer: Father, thank you for calling me your child. Thank you that you delight in me and rejoice over me. May I receive joy, knowing that true joy comes from your presence. I can't come up with it on my own and my circumstances can't give it to me, but you can. Your joy is lasting and eternal. Help me today to share that with my family. Help me to slow down and enjoy my children for the gifts that they are. In Jesus' name, amen.
