Poured Out Filled Up : Walking in The Spirit Part 2 | Tim W. Gill
Sunday Am, May 24th, 2026
MESSAGE SUMMARY:
This Bible study emphasized that the God who fills the universe desires to dwell within His people through the baptism of the Holy Ghost, bringing transformation, relationship, and power into their lives. Beginning with Acts 2, the lesson showed that Pentecost was not merely an emotional event, but the fulfillment of God’s plan to restore humanity after sin separated mankind from His presence in Eden. Through Jesus Christ, humanity can be washed, sanctified, and justified, reclaiming the original purpose of reflecting God’s glory and character. The study explained that the baptism of the Holy Spirit—described throughout Scripture as being filled, receiving, poured out, or baptized with the Holy Ghost—is one experience expressed in different ways, and is available to all people regardless of background. Drawing from Acts 2, 8, 9, 10, and 19, the lesson demonstrated that believers repeatedly experienced a distinct and powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit, often evidenced by speaking with other tongues. The Holy Spirit not only empowers believers to live holy lives, but also reveals Jesus, activates the Word of God in the heart, convicts of sin and righteousness, and enables Christians to walk in victory and true spiritual identity. Ultimately, the message called believers to hunger for more than religion or tradition, praying for God’s Spirit to be continually poured out upon them so they may remain filled and transformed into the image of Christ.
