24 Hours: On Trial for an Answer. One Answer (Mark 14:53-65)

Is Jesus Savior & Lord - the Son of God? That is the question That’s the one answer he’s on trial for THEN, and still TODAY.

It’s a question that matters to everyone.

There’s  stuff in our world that we know to be true.  Good leaders make a difference.  Better systems make a difference.  Elected representatives change things.  Money moves the world - if you could just get the right allocation of budgets and taxes and food distribution and so forth - you might conceivably be able to fix the whole world.  

But Jesus?

A crucified Savior, an ancient story, whose church has delivered mixed results today?   

If you’re seeking for your first-time answer on whether Jesus is Lord, the “leap of faith”  so to speak, might seem pretty big.  And you might not think that you can make that leap.  Maybe  you’re better off doubling down on the stuff in this world that actually works.

Is Jesus the Son of God.  Does he really save? That's our question today.
