As we move forward in our marriage (and in our close relationships), there is a wake behind us. The longer you're in a relationship, the more weight builds, which in turn creates a bigger wake. But what happens when the boat slows down all of a sudden? The wake catches up to you! Depending on how heavy your boat is, that wake can really jostle you around!
