Deadly Silence || Amos 7:1 - 8:3 || Pastor John Musyimi

Truth often pierces the heart and reveals the true intents and motives of one's soul. Many, at times, flee, not wanting to hear the truth, but this often leads to the detriment of their souls. Amos, in this passage, is used by God to reveal to the Israelites their true condition and sends a warning of affliction in the hope that they would turn to His abundant mercy in repentance, but they in turn choose to ban Amos from their presence not wanting to hear God's wise counsel. Pastor John Musyimi, in this sermon, seeks to show us that it is better to plead God's pardon than to seek God's silence!
