In the face of injustice and evils done unto us, we may despair wondering if we will ever be avenged; if the perpetrators will ever face the punishment due to their actions. In this Psalm of Asaph, we see a scenario where even the wicked may laugh and scorn, but God, the ultimate Judge, will surely avenge; He will surely do justly.
