59. Grab the Anointing Oil and Let's Talk Healing with Kaylene Yoder

59. I don't know about you, Sister Friend, but there have been some moments in my life where I was in desperate need of healing. 

Once, my marriage was in a really dark place. We hit our knees and asked God for healing...

Several times I've cried out to God for physical healing, including a time when nerve damage in my tongue left me unable to speak or communicate clearly...

God has brought healing to my life during several different seasons of anxiety...

When I was a 26-year-old, very broken wife and mother, God met me in the middle of a still, quiet night and healed me emotionally, mentally and spiritually.  

Sometimes the healing has come quickly, other times it's happened slowly and there have also been times where healing hasn't happened... yet. And it may not, this side of Heaven. 

Our Earthly mind can play tricks on us. If we don't take them captive, our thoughts can take us into a space of constant uncertainty... "Why is this happening? Where is the healing? Should I keep hoping... keep praying?" 

Sweet sister, we should always keep hoping and keep praying. We must flip the script and replace our wandering thoughts with God's truth... 

The healing may not have happened... yet, but God promises that He sees us, that He holds our future and that it is good, that He'll never leave us. What if we begin to view our desire for healing as a growth opportunity? What if it's supposed to be part of our refining process? Maybe it's meant to be a season where we draw closer to the Lord? Maybe it's a way that we can point people toward Jesus?

I think it's safe to say that you've been in a place where you needed healing at some point. Maybe you're even in a place like that right now. God's about to use your story for His glory, Sis. Be encouraged! Amen!
