125. Finding Faith Above: She Left the Mormon Church and Traded "Works" for "Grace" (Shelby's Story)
Shelby Hohsfield grew up in a mixed religion home, primarily following Joseph Smith's teachings and the Book of Mormon. She was "baptized into the religion at age 8" all the while trying to discern if what she was believing was actually true.
From "levels of Heaven" to the lie of salvation by works, Shelby began seeking God's truths and grace when she left the Mormon Church at age 18. God began speaking into her life through dreams and life events until she opened her heart and freely received salvation by grace through faith.
If you're feeling far from Jesus right now or if you're looking for first steps when it comes to trusting in Him, Shelby is sharing loads of Biblical wisdom (and her full testimony) inside of today's episode.
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God." -Ephesians 2:8
