533. The Paradox of Lent

On the Christian calendar, Lent is perhaps the least understood and least observed of all the seasons or traditions. We make a massive celebration of Christmas—as we should!—but we actually aren’t commanded to remember his birth in Scripture. Christ does, however, command us to remember his death until he returns.
