The disciples' astonishment at Jesus' teachings mirrors our own questions about salvation. Here, Jesus clarifies that our self-sufficiency leads to impossibility, but with God, all things are possible. This emphasizes the significance of dependence on God's grace rather than personal achievements.

We conclude with a reminder that salvation is a gift, not a result of our deeds. Just as a child accepts a gift with gratitude and simplicity, we're called to receive God's salvation with childlike faith. Jesus' sacrifice on the cross assures us of God's love and forgiveness.
