The Fear of The Lord - Simon Ponsonby (CTLF 2018)

On the second morning of The Cause to Live For 2018, Simon Ponsonby, from St. Aldate's Church, spoke on the fear of the Lord. He said that if we’re to see a real revival then we’ve got to have a renewal of our understanding of God and the relationship we have with him. The fear of the Lord is not the same thing as being afraid of the Lord. It is to convey the sense of awe, wonder and delight, and loving your beloved so much that you’d be afraid to hurt him.
