How Are We Caring for the Most Vulnerable?

In the gospels Jesus tells his listeners that the second greatest commandment is to love one another as you love yourself. In a culture of rugged individualism, perhaps the most loving thing we can do is circle up around those who are weak in our community and protect them just as you would want to be protected.
