"He Descended to the Dead...On the Third Day he Rose from the Dead": Mythic Mission Holy Week 2022

In this special Holy Week 2022 Mythic Mission episode, I once again return to the topic of Holy Saturday (with visual aids this time!) and explore what it means that Jesus "descended to the dead." Then, I address the argument that Easter, like Christmas, is a pagan holiday that the Church borrowed from surrounding pagan cultures/myths and finish with a lesson on the relationship between the true myth of Jesus Christ and all the others.
