Mental Health and the Church - With Wesley Towne

In this episode of the Basics of Life Conversations, Pastor Rob talks with Wesley Towne. In the first half of this conversation, Wesley shares his story of planting a church in Eugene, Oregon in 2008 that in five years became one of the fasted growing churches in the Northwest.  In 2013, Outreach Magazine named him the youngest megachurch pastor in America. Wesley shares insights in ministry as well as the struggles of pastoring a rapid growing church and the decision that led him to step away from Ekklesia in 2018. In the second half of this conversation, Rob and Wesley discuss the subject of mental health and the Church and how the church can be a great place of healing and refuge for those struggling with mental illness.
