278. Do We Still Think Jesus Was A Carpenter?

278. Do We Still Think Jesus Was A Carpenter?

In this week’s episode Cris revisits the familiar image of Jesus the carpenter and gently questions whether the Gospels point us instead toward a builder shaped by the stone and soil of first-century Galilee. Tracing the meaning of tekton, and following the thread of foundations, cornerstones, and structures that run through Gospel of Matthew, Gospel of Mark, and Gospel of Luke, the episode builds a case that Jesus teaches like one who knows what it means to dig deep and build to last.
